The "front end" is not up and running yet... but I am getting close! I needed to wait till school got out before I started making the transition. It has always been my goal to have all of my web resources in my own web domain...but up until now I haven't had the ability or time to set it up.
The Blogging software that I have installed on my web domain is very powerful and will eventually be the best choice for me in the long run.
All entries from will be copied over to my main WordPress blog posting.
I will continue to maintain my
Google BlogSpot site and my
Xanga site so that I can post comments to other sites and also keep the newest posting with a link to my
main Blog pages.
Some of my reasons for changing over to a "WordPress" blog hosted on my own domain are as follows (I will edit this post as other reasons arise).
- My web domain runs better in China... and since my life...my very existence revolves around Kim and her happiness...well I will use my own domain's blog
- It has always been my intention to put all my web resources into my own domain
- Having my "stuff" hosted on my own domain gives me more control as to how it is published
- I don't like the banner ads that show up in other services
