Forced to start a Xanga

(mirrored from my Xanga site)

Well... I am forced to start a Xanga Weblog...I really want to be able to comment on my families sites...so here goes! At least I can put the links to my other sites.

My primary Google page has many links out to other web experiments. This site really inspired me to get a web domain and learn the different facets of using the web and hosting my own web tools. One of those tools is an online database for researching the family tree. I decided to call it "Out of my Tree" (I thought it was funny). Genealogy research has been a hobby of mine for many years and I have always wanted a way of sharing the information I have found with my entire family anytime they wanted it. The World Wide Web is the only practical way of meeting that goal.

Another goal I wanted to meet with the web domain was making family photo's available anytime anywhere to all of my family. I installed a "Photo Gallery" module.
Over the next few months I hope to have thousands of pictures posted and organized.
I also plan on tieing all of these together with a time line of events in my life and my family. Right now these events and links are REALLY random; but eventually it will make some sense (hopefully).

Cubbies

Tonight we had "Concrete hand night" at Cubbies! What a mess! Some of my leaders don't realize the problems with getting too much water mixed in with ready mix.

Also tonight at cubbies we took pictures of the kids with their leaders.

We will be making their certificates for awards night using these pictures. As you can see (if you follow the link)...I have more than enough leaders for the club (I have a waiting list of students wanting to work in Cubbies...It is a really nice position to be in...and I get the "cream of the crop"/ "the best of the best" for leaders )
