Xanga vs Blogger

Well it looks like I will settle on using Goggle's BlogSpot rather than Xanga.

I do like some of the features in Xanga; but I really like the fact that I can "post-date" or back fill my online journal using BlogSpot.

I am going to experiment with using a BlogSpot for a timeline. I have begun a new separate blog that will act as a "time line" until the year 1990. Using a BlogSpot allows me to have family and friends post comments on the individual events.

Springfest at Northland

Today was Springfest at Northland. I drove on campus for a little while this afternoon...just long enough to take some pictures. It looks like we had a great turn out...and everyone was having a great time. The location this year was fantastic.

Just a branch

This is a logo I created a long time ago.

It is a reminder to acknowledge the reality of the unseen.
We see the tree...(when we can see the tree through the forest)
...but we must always remember that the tree is nothing without the roots.

In this logo the root structure is greater than the tree.
A tree can never bear fruit without the continual daily life giving sustenance of the root.

So it begins

Well I have started a blogspot. This is an addition to my "Xanga" and various Google pages.

My primary Google Page has various links out to my other web experiments.

It's a small world

What a wild evening...Technologically speaking!
I am on my cell phone (free weekend minutes you know) with my dear sweet mom!
...Then my favorite niece in China "instant messages" me...so quick as a flash...
... I use "Google Talk - Audio" and switch my cell phone to speaker phone
...and Petimus Credimus...Indiana/Wisconsin/China are communicating loud and clear
(well Kim was loud...I was clear)!!!
